CIF Error

Hi all,

i have come across an interesting issue. after ccr (sapapo/ccr) for pur req , when i check /sapapo/cq, i find an error saying "material xyz can not be taken from plant P due to status "obsolete"." while checking master data in R3, plant specific material status in either plant or DC is maintained obolete.

this is the reson why such mssg is there. but when i see in product view, pur req in APO is created. does any one have faced similar situation where instead of error mssg, pur req is created??

ILLFORD,

The plant specific material status is maintained in ECC not APO. When you craete a preq, the preq is created in APO successfully. This will have a APO number. Now when it CIFs across to ECC it sees that the material is obsolete and hence this error.
