Upload Project structure in SAP from legacy

Hello All,

Currently there is no specific legacy system with the client. However client tracks the progress of the project through some reports handeled in excel and word.

Now clients project is mid way and want to implement SAP.

My query is how can we bring the data of the project which is in its mid way in SAP and execute the remaining in SAP.

Any inputs are welcome.

Sudarshan, You can use LSMW or BDC to upload the project structure...But, for other data's like cost and open PR/PO, SO referrring the project, you will have to consult your FICO, MM & SD consultants.

Hi

first as per the existing legacy system first try to MAp the project structure in SAP. then accordigmgly the projects can be uploaded in SAp using LSMW, BDC or MIcro soft projects. before Uploding the projects the Cut of startget would be decided by the respective consultants. For eample the cost of the project till now , to be booked on the project will be decide by the FI and PS consultant.
