Assembly Issue in NWDI

Former Member
0 Kudos

Hi NWDI Expert

We have NWDI configured with runtime system Dev, Cons and Production

We are able to deploy our MSS related changes in Dev and Cons but while doing Assembly for Production we are getting Error, i mean Assembly is failing

We have tested our changes and everything looks ok in Cons system

Since the changes are already in Dev and Cons through NWDI so can we move canges in Production through SDM bypassing Assembly, approval and production through NWDI, if yes than what will disadvantages

Please help as we are stuck here for last 1 week as SAP is asking to upgrade MSS Patch level to resolve assembly issue

Thanks in advance

Thanks

Deelip

Hi,

if you have broken DCs (as also the line says in the above error

"20100609213056 Fatal  :Nonempty list of broken DCs, stopping export now")

then I suggest to take your time to fully understand the following guide:

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-1177

If after reading this guide you cannot resolve the problem, then please have a look at this:

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechTSG/%28NWDI%29%28CBS%29+the+CBS-make+log+and-or+CBS+Web+UI+...

If the problem is still there then we need the build log (it is also described in the above troubleshooting guide if you follow the steps).

I hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Ervin

Did you have a look at the assembly logs?

Yes, we looked at the assembly log and as per SAP the error is due to one Class which is not available in MSS SP04 so and the issue is resolved in SP08

WE can not upgrade our patch level so wanted to know impact as what will happen if we go ahead and apply changes through SDM in Production though the changes in Dev and QA has been done throught NWDI

Hi Deelip,

You might want to go to the CBS WebUI to check out the broken DCs and see if you can fix them.

I'm sure you came across this article before.

Hi Deelip,

As per the log there is broken DC included which you are assemblying in CMS.

Please try to check the broken DC from CBS under track and correct the DC from NWDS then activate and release again.

Hope it will helps
