Remember field selection on ITS Service

Hi gurus,

I'm using several ITS services (through IAC iviews) and these call several R/3 transactions. I'm wondering if it's possible replicate a R/3 functionality on ITS. When you fill any field on R/3 transaction and then exit this, when you come back, field remembers selection you fill previously on it. Is it possible on ITS? Is there any parameter to get it?

Hi Iván,

If you mean the history list from a given input field, this is a functionality that the web browser should provide you with. SAP note 314568 tells more about this limitation:

"...

o Field History

In SAP GUI for HTML the field history is provided by the browser.

It is not a functionality of SAP GUI for HTML.

..."

Hi Ivan,

I'm afraid this is a limitation. HTML is a stateless protocoll. Sessions on the R/3 side via SAPGUI, however are stateful.

Also worth noting that in SAP GUI for HTML(WEBGUI) and IAC's the field history is provided by the browser not the ITS.
