If you select without recording, why do you expect a request to be generated?

This happens only (with repository objects) if there is an open request already or if the first 'save' was executed to not record anything.

I suggest you open an OSS call.

Open http://service.sap.com/message and create a call for the affected system in component BC-CTS

Hi,

If the develpment package has been re-assigned to local object ($TMP)

no request will be generated as well.

Call transaction SE16 with table TADIR and select record

R3TR PROG "programname in capital letters"

you should get a single hit. Validate the field DEVCLASS.

If it is $TMP, you need to re-assign it to a development class of your choice.

If it is not $TMP, go to transaction SE03 to search the request (may be not released)

that contains your object.
