Hi, all...
We are using SRM 7.0. And we want to use(install) SUS.
1.
In Master Guides page 27, there are some installation about SUS.
===========================================
Install SAP SRM Server for SAP SUS.
[Installation Guide SAP SRM Server on<Platform>:<Database>]
===========================================
But in Installation Guide SRM 7.0, there are no infomation about SUS.
Which part can I find SAP SUS installation guide?
2.
And one more question,
In SRM 5.0 installation guide, it said SUS don't need installation.
===========================================
As of SAP SRM Server 5.0, Supplier Self-Services (SUS) 3.0 is an integral part of SAP
SRM Server 5.0. Therefore, you do not need to install this component separately.
===========================================
As I understand, if SRM is installed, don't need SUS installation.
Then there are inconsistency in SRM 7.0 master guide and SRM 5.0 installation guide.
Is system archtecture changed? or my understanding is wrong?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
SUS is part of SRM. If you install SRM, you should have SUS also. Typically SUS is configured in its own client.

Hi,
For info - SRM v7 employee self service runs on EP. Whereas SRM SUS still runs on BSP. It will be possible to integrate SUS into EP
As a starter, you can look at document S61_BPP_EN_DE.doc to see the config requirements for SUS
Thanks

Hi,
SUS function is part of SRM Server. You just need to install SRM Server.
SUS(SRM Server) can be located in inner DMZ. In that case additional server and installation are required for SUS.

Thanks for your answer.
But I still have a few questions.
1.
I understood that SUS is just another SRM server for supplier.
Then if we want to use SUS, we have to install SRM again.
And just confugure SUS system
Is it right?
2.
We are using EP for SRM.
If I want to use EP for SUS, we have to install different EP? or not?
What is EP user role for SUS?
Sincerely,
Best Regards.
SKY.
