For serv SC, system merges all line while creating PR(with same data)

Hi,

A service type SC is created with 2 line items in SRM 7.0.

The product category and accounting info is same for both items.

When this SC is bridged to R/3, the PR created has 1 line item and this line items has 2 sub line in service tab.

Is this standard SRM 7.0 functionality that for services, if the line item accounting and comm code(product category) are same the PR and PO will combine the like items?

How can we make 2 different lines in PR?

Hi Richa,

This is standard system behaviour. When a PR is created in R/3 with sevice items it will create one item. But within this item you will see all of your service items. It is like it is creating a container for the services.

It does not matter that the accounting is the same it will do this anyway. This is standard in R/3, SRM has no control over this behaviour.

I hope this clarifies what you are experiencing.

Kind Regards,

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for your inputs.

We have achieved this by changing the standard SAP code using enhancement point.

Our system now creates one PR line per service line in SC

Kind Regards,
