How to download MDM Console on to your machine

can you advice detail steps on how to download MDM console on your machine. I've VPN access to server but I need to download Console.

Hi Narayana,

Please see jitesh reply in this thread from where it can be downloaded:

I think you need to download the whole software and then unzip it. Once you unzip it can be seen in the Gui Clients folder.

You can also see this page:

But the above is for SRM.

Hi Sandeep,

You can download MDM console directly from SAP Market place. For that you should have SAP Download Manager.

Go to service.sap.com and click on Downloads.

>Click on SAP Support Packages

>Click on Applications by Index on left hand side.

>Click on alphabet M

>Click on SAP MDM

>Click on SAP Netweaver MDM 7.1

>Click on Administration Clients

Here you will get SAP MDM Console 7.1

Hi Naryana,

Console is a GUI tool which you need to have somewhere on your server. If you have access to server then it doesnot mean you can download console. The best thing would be ask the basis guys to put a copy in some fodler in server. Then you can login and download.

Think like the sap gui. If you did not install gui on your desktop then it doesnot make sense if you access to server.
