Hi Guys,
I have SDN'd to the point where I am blue in my face.
I am trying to configure our Enterprise Portal to talk to the SAP Backend DMS.
Could anyone please advise on the necessary steps that need to be taken, and also, what the actual link is to download the KM Connector for DMS.
Thanks
Hi Martin,
Thanks for your response. Simple, easy to understand and straight forward.
I have one additional question if you dont mind.
Do you have the link to the donwload of the PLM Business Package?
In terms of doing the config, I am sure I will be able to complete that with the info you provided.
Please advise.
Thanks

Hi,
there are some restrictions together with the KM Connector. There is note 739829, referencing to the KM Performance HowTo in SDN (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/5ea2f0b3-0801-0010-a6b9-d9ce4a01bb77). In page 17 you can see, that only 1000 Objects per folder can be handled in a performant way.
Since EhP 4 DMS is now completely Web and Portal-enabled. Please have a look here:
So no need for an additional connector (or even a portal) any more.
For portal connectivity you can find the package here: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/f2/d8c0a6bfa24d1caade7fc5addd6026/frameset.htm
