SAP time zone mapping not properly initialized;

All,

When I'm using USERADMIN in my CE 7.11 system, using ABAP UME, I get the following message:

SAP time zone mapping not properly initialized; time zone information cannot be exchanged between ABAP and UME. See SAP Note 994364

I've applied the Note mention in the message, with some exceptions: 1) I could not find the role SAPI18N - role does not exist, 2) test by using function module AUTHORITY_CHECK_RFC - function module could not be found on either system.

Are there additional steps that are required and not documented by this Note?

Hi Jose, Could it be that your ABAP release is <7.0?

My ABAP system in this scenario was originally a BW 3.5 system; it was upgraded earlier this year to BW 7 ehp1. For this reason, becuase its the most current of all my ABAP systems, I selected it as my source. I've checked client 000 of that system, just in case...but no dice.

Strange. I found it in our development system. Perhaps you should open a message with SAP support.
