Hello,
if I try to open "http://<sm-host>:80XX/smd", it shows only the messages "message.rfc_get_error" and "message.guid_text".
SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 SP20
I need SMD for EWA of our Enterprise Portals. I don't know whether installed correctly smd/wily.
Can someone help with a step-by-step tutorial?

execute the DIAGSETUP solved the problem...
SOLMAN_SETUP / basic configuration / step 7 (automatic configuration) / Diagnostic configuration / open URL

Thank you for the information provided.. appreantly we are aso hit with the same issue.
But i just wanted to know if i run below steps will it erase ...my all systems configured in SMSY & also my service desk & CHARM Configuration.. Please let me know...or will it resolve the issue pointing to
"message.rfc_get_error",
"message.guid_text".

Did you try access SMD using transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER => ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS ?
