need to apply DMIS_XXX add-ons after client-copy or TDSHL?

I am preparing TDMS.

I plan to use client copy OR TDSHL to create the receiver.

I think that I still need to apply DMIS_XXX to the receiver after client copy or TDSHL because DMIS_XXX are client-independent.

Could you help confirm my guess?

Hi,

As TDMS Shellcreation is more or less a homogenous Systemcopy using R3Load with reduced Dataload it is not required to install the DMIS components on the receiver system after a complete shellcreation!

All repository objects from the source system will be available on the receiver side!

So if all required TDMS addons /SP have been installed on the Source no aditional effort on the receiver is required!

If client-copy is used to create the receiver, DMIS has to be applied to the receiver after the client-copy is done?
