Is it possible to degrade the kenel level from 69 to 55 (or) less through JSPM for NW 7.01(JAVA) systems.

if not possible ,for manual kernel upgrade/degrade ,do we need to uncar IGSEXE.SAR as well along with SAPEXE.SAR & SAPEXEDB.SAR ..and should put all these files togeather at /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/uc....for the new kernel?

Hi,

Its not possible to degarde through JSPM.

IGS is optional. If you are using IGS, then it is required. Otherwise SAPEXE.SAR and SAPEXEDB.SAR should be fine.

Its not poosible through JSPM.

I would suggest to degrade all files, don't have inconsistencies within files of kernel. Whether you use IGS or not is secondary.
