no waring message for no stock in MTS sales order order

Dear Experts,

I have MTS sales order. if Material A is having 100 PC.

and if i enter more than 100 pc in sales order of Material A then i am not getting any warning of less stock.

HI

Please maintain Availability Check (ex: Z1 ) in Sales: General/Plant Tab

This Z1 check should have the following:

- Include Reservations

- Include Sales Requirements

- Include Deliveries

- Include Safety Stock

i should get message when total order quanty of a Material of all undelivered sales order is more than

its unristricted stock in that particular plant.

First identify what schedule line category is flowing in your sale order. Next go to VOV6, select that schedule line category and execute. There check whether you have ticked the box for "Availability".

yes schedule line category is CP and "Availability" is checked in VOV6.

i just want if MMBE stock for Material A is 100 and i am creating MTS sales order which picks Material from Unristricted stock

then if i create sales order over 100 pcs then there should be waring message that order qty is more than stock.

we get such type of message in Purchase order creation.

Irrespective of order quantity you enter, whatever stock is available, to that extent only, it will be confirmed which you can check in sale order schedule line tab. This being the case, why do you want system to give a warning message.
