Hi there,
whenever I go to the download area and try to start the download of ANY maxdb file, I get:
Unfortunately we have trouble completing your download request. Please contact sdn@sap.com for further support.
I already saw a thread from april 2010 but there doesn't seem to be a solution. Are there any mirrors I can use?
I really need the download!
Thanks in advance,
JHL
Hi there,
why aborting when it gets interesting?
When I proceed with the step where the download begins, it fails.
Is there a mirror for the files? The public ftp server unfortunately don't contain the right exe files!
Thanks in advance,
Jan

Hi There,
I downloaded it last week working fine. I test it now working fine (stop before real downloading).
Download
SAP MaxDB - Community Edition
Choose the right version and OS
License Agreement (read and choose accept)
It will bring you to download pad
enjoy it
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I can confirm those issues and have no solution. I just gave up reporting it because it works a little bit
That means sometimes I can download a file, but most of the time not. I tried with different firefox versions and also opera. I never ever have other problem but only with downloads from the SAP site.
I have this issue for months now and just tried it with the SAP MaxDB Parameter Check File and got the error.
So, I can confirm that something is wrong somehow.
My OS is Linux (RHEL3 + 5), all internet access goes via Squid proxy running on RHEL 4 + 5
Regards,
Simon
