QM - VC integration

Hi,

We have QM - VC integration in our project.

I am linking up an MIC and VC characterstic.

Suppose both the characterstics the value range of selection is 1.0 to 100.0.

While configuration in Sales Order I am selecting range for the characterstic 5.0 - 15.0.

Now when I go for results recording it shows the specifications correctly as 5.0 - 15.0.

But it is not giving error when I record the values beyond this range.

Same is the problem with qualitative characterstics.

How to set this up?

Please suggest me on this.

What is the valuation rule you are using in the sampling procedure?

Did you record a defect?

If you want the result to be rejected when it excedds the spec then why aren't you using valuation mode

"700 - Mean value within tolerance range"?
