Hi Everyone,
We seem to have an issue on our load balancing where one server keeps getting overloaded with users on it than the other servers which is in turn causing performance issues where one server is getting over utilized while the others aren't. Other than limiting the amount of users that can log on to this one server is there anything we can do to balance out the users amongst the application servers?
It can be done temporarily from SMLG -> Goto -> System diagnosis -> Message Server status and then by changing the FAV_COMPUTE_SERVER and Logon Favorite Storage.
What you can also do is keep the number of users low under the attribute tab for the servers that you don't want as a preferred server and keep the number high for the preferred server. You can do the same with response time as well.
But again you loose the whole purpose of Load Balancing.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Naveed

Hi,
YOu need to set attributes for servers.
Go to SMLG-->Double click on server or group >attribute tab>set parameters in instance-dependant section
set user column that maximum you want to login into that particular server and save the changes.
To check the same click on F5.

Try to analyze what kind of Users are logging into that server.
See if u can distribute the same user to another app server also, so that 2 app servers can take load.
