MRP/SP accepting as Blank

Dear SAP Guru,

We are maintaining MRP/SP through Condition Record VKP0. While entering MRP/SP it accept blank too where as in Retail Industry salable SKUs never be 0 or blank.

If there any configuration to prohibit user to enter as Blank or 0.

check the indicator "Required" in your pricing procedure for condition type VKP0. system will popup an error msg if the condition value is zero or blank.

alternatively, define your own Incompleteness procedure in OVA2. make sure to include the field NETWR, so that the system checks if Net value is filled when saving.

While maintaining condition record VKPO through VK11 we want Condition Value should not be 0 or blank.

"Required" will check when IDOC will have blank MRP/SP.

Can you explain at which stage you want sales condition to be not Zero.

eg.1. at the time of creation of article- ( Then maintain General Parameters for Pricing :- PP Determination sequence 01 and SP determination sequence 06 ) under retail pricing under under logistic general.

or 2. before listing Then use listing procedure 06 or 01 as per requirement.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion.

Actually Article Master is correctly configured and there is no problem. But when we change the MRP/SP (Current MRP/SP) if user (by mistake) enter as 0 or leave it blank system should not save the transaction and throw error "0 or blank MRP/SP not possible" We are entering MRP/Sales Price in VK11 , Condition record VKP0.

We want that during entering time system prevent such mistakes rather IDOC fail then corrective actions.

in VK11 there is noway we can control nor you should try to develop somthing( Development) like that as it can create issue for those artcle for which Prices are not generally maintained .

one methold to have a check is that you can run transation Vkp4 for all articles with value equel to zero. this will list you all the articles with zero value
