Check total weight in sales order

Hi,

We want to check the total weight in sales order. If the value of total weight is lower than xxxxx we allow to create sales order otherwise block the sales order.

This senario can develop in user-exit. But I want to solve with standart custimazing.

Is there any standart custimizing.

Hi Hulya,

I don't think the requirement could be fulfilled with standard customizing.

FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE (MV45AFZZ) could be used.

Use tcode OMS8

Define Container

Requirements: In this step, you define the type of container in which the material is stored and shipped.

This field is maintained in the Storage view on the material master record.

Actions: Define your container requirements.

And activate STORAGE tab in your desired material type.

Check the item category is weight/volume relevant using tcode VOV7.

Check material master MM02, enter Unit of measure under additional data section, which will be there below menu bar

Also check if Unit of measures are maintained in sales org 1,2, Storage tab & sales plant view of material master.
