Dear PP/DS Experts,
When transferring production version to APO, there are inconsistency in the material consumption and unit of measure between APO PDS and ERP BOM.
This might take place when the base unit of measure in material master and component unit of measure in BOM are different from each other.
This leads to material consumption 0 when teh base unit of measure in material master is bigger than component unit of measure in BOM. For example, assuming that material base unit of measure TON and BOM component unit of measure KG, in this case if BOM component Qty is 0.36 KG thenQty in PDS is 0 TON.
How can reslove this problem ?

Hi Lee,
Check whether SAP note 858250 is applicable to you

Hi Lee,
Try using transaction /SAPAPO/RTO_ORD_COMP which compares the
PDS data in APO with that of BOM data at ERP.

Dear Mareeswaran,
Thanks for your input first but the result of /SAPAPO/RTO_ORD_COMP shows no difference.
Is it a standard behaviour that BOM component quantity is converted by base unit of measure and then PDS variable quantity is set using converted base unit of measure ?
If so, is there any work-around to set PDS variable quantity same as BOM quantity and component unit of measure ?
Best Regards,
Lee, Seung won
