Partial milestone confirmation

Hello,

I have milestone billing scenario where in partial milestone being done.

My query is when user will do partial confirmation of milestone from PS module then system should not allow user to do billing for whole amount.

Say milestone value is Rs. 10000 and confirmation has been done only 50% then user should not allow to create billing document for Rs. 10000. it should be only 50% that is Rs. 5000 in billing document.

Hello

In the std system, SAP would not block you from creation of invoice with more amount than that of milestone

you can use some user exit maybe to influence pricing and ad the validation

USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP

USEREXIT_PRICING_CHECK

Based on my understanding.

If the material is Resource is based

Then you are confirming your milestone, using DP91 and subsequently creating a release order and there after billing with reference to release order. Then the system is create billing based on partial quantity which are confirmed.

The business process can be

>Bill Plan - DP01 - Rel Order - I/V

If the material is Deliverable based

Then the partial confirmation is based quanities delivered to the customer.

The business process can be

>Bill Plan - Delv - I/V
