Priority during Sceduling using PP/DS

Dear Sir,

We are in ETO scenario and using PP/DS for detailed sceduling .

We need the assistance in the following scenario :

We have 4 different Manufacturing Projects running simultaneously and Final Requirement date of the end manufactured product in these Projects are as below :

Project-1 has date 01/01/2011

Project-2 has date 01/02/2011

Project-3 has date 01/02/2011

Project-4 has date 01/04/2011

We have also defined the Priority for these Projects as ,

Project-1 has priority 2

Project-1 has priority 1

Project-1 has priority 3

Project-1 has priority 4

During detailed Sceduling in PP/DS , we desire that for Project-2 being of highest priority , the scheduling should be done in such a fashion that Project-2 should have least delay due to resources constraint (as some of the resources are common being used in all the Projects) . It means whenever there is resource bottleneck then Project Orders for Project-2 should be considered first so that delay can be minimized for Project-2

We request you to kindly help us on this issue pl .

What all the settings you have made for product priority in master data and profiles.

Plz explain the expectation clearly so I will try in helping you.

Plz check

when you generate the planned order does the order is taking product priority? you can check thin in product view

Have you done any settings in optimiser profile pertaining to priority?
