Hello Experts,
we are implementing GATP now. We already did all customizing steps, we have the integration models working, but something particular is happening:
We are using a RBA option. Once a product is order, system should look for that item and if it is not available, then it should look for product an other product. Well, the systems apparently does that, but the issue is that when it tries to confirm against second product, it says that in not possible because there is not stock available, but there is actually non restricted stock for that item. What could be the reason that the system is not taking that stock into account?
Thanks for your help.
1,
Could be lots of reasons. Usually the ATP screens that you see in R/3 will tell you the story, especially the 'scope of check'.. If you are not displaying these screens, you should turn them on, at least until all your troubleshooting is done.
What happens when you perform an ATP check directly against the alternate product?

Hi Dtron
One place to check is the Check Instructions under Rules Based ATP-> field 'Validity Mode'.
You can check if you've selected "Only use Elements in the validity period" and also check if your Substitution Location Product is valid on the Availability date of your unrestricted stock.
For more on this field refer to F1 help on the field "Validity Mode".
If you are not able to determine your validity dates, try testing the scenario with "Use Elements Before start of the validity date"
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Mohan
