Cancelling PGI to wrong date

Dear gurus,

I cancelled PGI to wrong date(May 2010). The date must be (April 2010) and now I am looking for a way to fix this problem.

Is there any way to fix this issue?

Hi,

One workable solution would be to issue the existing qty (wrongly reversed in May'10) to cost centre via movement type 201 (tcode MB1B or MIGO-Transfer Posting) and receive the inventory from same cost centre via Movement type 202 in the month of April'10 provided period is open.

The impact would be followings:

1. For the Month of April & May Consumption account will show negative & positive figuers.

2. If there would have any differnce in Moving avg price of the two months, PRD entry will be passed which again be loaded on inventory.

Pls test it first and then do it.

You can do reversal for PGI in this way in future,

If you reverse pgi using VL09,after entering plant,delivery no,click execute,

Click Define date button,enter month date of PGI you want to reverse,Press Enter,Finally click reverse button.

This action will reverse pgi on desired date.

Hi,

You can't reverse the PGI once already reversed,

Reversal cant be done before the PGI date
