Thanks that did not work either, was told to back everything out and go to an earlier version that the file may be currupt from the download. Painful indeed.

New Approach:

Were now about to install with sapinst option u2026/sapinst SAPINST_SET_STEPSTATE=true

to replace the kernel by a newer version.

The previously downloaded one was outdated.

Define a break after the kernel has been applied then replace the kernel (both parts).

Then continue with the installation.

This worked!

Emmerich,

Nope that did not work either got the same error message after following the steps you gave. Still having that cast problem. I even pulled the export files fresh from the marketplace and tried those just in case but that was not either.

Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

The Taskfile SAPAPPL0 shows 1 or more lines marked "err"

It shows the table name of the table which could not be inserted or filled with data.

You should replace the "err" mark by "xeq" for execute.

Then open SQL-Studio and delete that table and mark the appropriate action to be repeated with "xeq".

Then run sapinst again "old options" to try to repeat that/those actions.

I could not test this procedure so far as I can not access the server by SQL-Studio - I am trying to find out how to delete the /SLOAS/XML with sqlcli...

Let me know if it worked

good luck

This is what comes up when I run that command:

F:\usr\sap\DEM\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64>R3trans -d

This is R3trans version 6.14 (release 701 - 26.01.09 - 12:46:00).

unicode enabled version

2EETW169 no connect possible: "connect failed with DBLI_RC_LOAD_LIB_FAILED."

R3trans finished (0012).

I tried stopping and restarting the machine and then restarting the sapinst did not work get same error.

Memory on this box is 10GB physical and 25GB virtual. MSSQL server is running on a minimum of 4GB and a max of 6GB.

Thanks

Hi Vega,

It seems it is giving error while importing SAPAPPL0 package, did u perform resource check preparation while doing actual installation, what is your RAM size and Virtual Memory.

can you post sapinst and R3trans logs for further investigation

Please update the status

Hi Vega,

For workaround try to stop sapinst and start with old installation option if still problem persists, please post R3trans log ( command is R3trans -d)
