Could anyone please explain about EDI 852. what kind of IDoc does it use to create a sales order in SAP?

PROACT01 updates WRPT and S130 tables but i need an IDoc which creates a sales order.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Michelle

You need to look at EDI 850 if you are looking for an IDoc which creates a sales order and not EDI 852. EDI 852 is a Retail specific EDI format for transmitting point of sale data to suppliers.

but i've looked at those already before posting...hopefully my response below would give more information for you to help me out.

but i need the 852 coming in to create a sales order, we are doing this for consignment so when the customer send the sales summary we need it to create a sales order in SAP so we can bill it off of that order.
