Plant and Storage location

Dear Experts,

While i pack material handlings unit has been created.In handling unit - in status Tab - Packing materials - we have Plant/storage loc. - I am inputing manually plant in plant and storage location -

My query once i create handling unit it shud capture automatically plant and storage location in Status Tab.

Guys could you all suggest how to go for it..

You should post this in LE forum, you will get better advice there.

Any ways, try T Code VHAR. Here for the Packaging material you can set up how plant determination should be carried out. You have 3 options, I suggest you go for 'Plant is proposed from the material master'. Once plant is determined, storage location will follow, I guess.

Also there is a whole set of config for Handling Unit (HU) management, check it out for anything else.

Hi,

In the general data about the packaging materials (packaging material type and packaging material category). You can also change the plant and the storage location of the packaging material here.

Please check if you have made the required entries in Logistics Execution u2192 Shipping - Packing.
