cFolders

1)Currently I have a link for cFolders and it is a general one, I mean, anyone can access and start working. Even when I give logout it does not go to the login prompt. I would like to understand how to enter cFolders with a unique id and password.

2)In User administration I was able to create a user id. At the end of creation, it gives me a prompt that says User id has been created and details sent to the email address that is specified. But I did not receive any email.

Any pointers to the above questions are appreciated.

Hi,

for your second querry,you might have not created system user which is used to send mails.and if that is also there pls check your SMTP service activated or not.

and for 1st,I am not sure but you can try with this link

http://<your cFolders server:8000>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/cfx_rfc_ui/col_ov.htm

here port number 8000 may b different in your case

Thanks for your reply. Nevertheless,for the 1st query I tried your suggestion, but it still enters the common id. I still do not see the login prompt.

For the second one, the SMTP has been activated.Not sure why the email is not getting generated.

Please let me know.

Pls check these options also.

1. Have you created cFolder System Administrator in User Administrator link?

2.If this user is created,check in SCOT transaction;whether you are getting mail over there or not?
