ERM: Tick-off box: "Update role-status" in role definition view.

Dear all,

During testing in my ERM sandbox I have not been able to figure out what the tick-off box: "Update role-status", in the role definition view, is for.

I try to tick it it off and save the role, but no changes or updates seem to happen.

A clarification on this question would be appreciated

The ERM version is 5.3 with SP11.

This is for Role status either Development or Production.

Hi,

The "Update role-status" - tickoff box is separate from the role status field, which is the field I think you refer to.

The tickoff box appears after I have changed the value of the role status field. But I cannot see that it performs any additional updates.
