SNC Picking up old Network Profile

Former Member

I have a user who can't logon via SNC to GUI. Their AD logon changed a few times within last couple weeks. While trying to logon SNC it is trying to use all older AD profiles\logons. Almost a different one everytime even know their current network logon matches SNC data in SU01. Older profiles were removed from PC but apparently not completely as SAP still pointing to them. Where exactly is SAP SNC poiinting to where it is picking up all of the users past AD profiles?

Alex,

Is the SNC library you are using, using Kerberos protocol ? I assume it is. if not, this answer is not relavent, and you need to contact the vendor of your SNC library for more help.

The SNC name of the user is determined from the samAccountName attribute in the users account in AD.

The samAccountName is based on the pre-windows 2000 account name as seen in users and computers tool.

Thanks,

Tim
