Hi,

Along with 09 inspection type and QA07 process.you can also have the FEFO(First Expiry First Out)strategy with batch management batch management. Here the full batch mgmt process will have to be done like create characteristics or use std SAP chrs for expiry date (LOBM_VFDAT),create class using this chrs.

Then create access sequence using this class and batch search strategy .Assign this srtategy in BAtch search procedure.

Also see to it that the Next UD date in Batch (MSC2n) is being calculated accordingly from either the UD date when the batch is inspected or GR date of the batch.and BBD is also inputted during GR.

Hello Raja,

For you to get inspection lot created automatically of inspection lot origin '09-recurring inspection' no settings required. Instead, set the transaction "QA07- Deadline monitoring of batches" to a scheduled batch job.

Set the initial run days, which suggest how many days before the exact expiry date, lot should be created or any other action suggested in T code should happen. yoc can block batch from processing, create inspection lot only, etc..

Schedule it on weekly or bi weekly basis, system will generate inspection lot for use automatically.

Thanks and regards,

Shashikumar
