Transports doesn't ask for user

Hi experts,

I have a weird issue in my system.

When I do a transport from DEV server in STMS tx, to QAS or PRD systems, it usually ask for a valid user and password of the objective server, but now, this only do the transport without ask me nothing.

Maybe this is a bad configuration on SPRO?

I don't want this, because I think this is so dangerous for the security of the system.,

Thanks in advance.

Sebastian.

I think STMS will only ask for an ID and password the first time you do a transport. If you don't back out of STMS it will not ask again.

Try exiting the STMS transaction and go back in and do another import and see if it wants an id/password. If it doesn't then you have an issue.

Thanks, but I know it, and try to do this many times, but nothing.

Also, the STMS never ask for an user or password, this is my problem.

Regards.

Hi Sebastian,

The reason is because you enabled TMS Trusted Services in your TMS environment.

Hi,

There may be 2 reason for this.

check whether

1. TMS Trusted Service is enabled

OR

2. Check whether any user is specified in TMS RFC in SM59.

Thanks

Thanks for all your replies, but I hadn't the trusted service actived.

Also, I have the TMSUSER defined on the TMS RFC for all my systems, is it the reason of my issue?

Regards.

My friend,

Check connection TMSSUP@<SID>.DOMAIN_<domain controller SID> in SM59, there are 3 of them if you're using 3 system landscape of TMS. Do you have a user defined in logon field?

Thanks, I've checked it, and I had asigned the TMSUSER in the 3 RFC.

is it the cause of my issue?

It is, leaving it blank will lead you to the logon screen. Your points are welcome if this is helpful.

Sorry, but I made a mistake. The RFC that I've checked was TMSADM@<SID>.DOMAIN_<DOMAIN_NAME>.

The ones start with "TMSADM" should have TMSADM defined as logon user, otherwise it won't be able to read TMS queue.

The ones start with "TMSSUP" should not be defined any logon user.
