Hi Rohini,

These are different algorithms to get digital signatures

Full Domain Hash, RSA-PSS etc are based on RSA

DSA

ECDSA

ElGamal signature scheme

Undeniable signature

SHA (typically SHA-1) with RSA

Classes for generating and validating XML digital signatures are available in Package javax.xml.crypto.dsig

Hi Rohini,

Certificates are issued by Certifying Authority(CA) for people or an organization. This is used to identify unique person or unique organization.

Digital Signature is mainly used for identifying content uniquely. We can check whether received content or document is correct or not.
