Hi,
We have just upgraded to ECC 6. We installed the ABAP stack but not the Java stack. We want to use Mobile Data Entry for Warehouse operations. We want to use the transactions as delivered, not do any other development. Would we need the Java stack in such a case? Any info would be appreciated. Debbie
Are you going for "always connected" or "always not connected" mode ?
If always not connected you need SAP MI infrastructure which is on a Java stack installed in separate server.
However if you are going for "always connected" you can use ITSMobile and put to use LM* transactions with modifications.
ITSMobile is a standard service in ECC and as far as i know does not need java stack.

Hi Debbie, you need not to install a Java Stack for your ECC 6.0 to be able to use Mobile. But you will need a Netweaver Mobile in your landscape, wich it is an ABAP + JAVA stack.
