Activating BC sets

Hi all,

We are using Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1/Oracle on HP-UX11.31

I am activating BC sets from solman_setup.

While configuring MOPZ, i activated the BC sets from SPRO.

Now for configuring Service Desk, i am activating the BC sets from SOLMAN_SETUP.

Pls tell me whether i am doing it right or by activating the BC sets now from SOLMAN_SETUP will it affect the previously configured MOPZ.

Hello Nanda,

Activating BC sets can be entered from several entery points.

Solman_setup will offer the opportunity to Activate BC ( Basic Configuration) sets.

The transaction SPRO allows all IMG activities to be carried out, and is typically where you would Activate BC sets.

Also, if a BC set was activated prior, and you perform the activity again, there should be no impact.

Hi,

It shouldn't affect for your scenario.

I would recommed you to use the SPRO settings (SPRO->SAP Solution Manager->Scenario specific settings->Service desk) for the Configuration of Service desk, If thats your goal.
