EBW (RSA1) Source System need to deactivate

Dear All

We are doing OD/DB migration. Now we have completed rehearsal1 process.

In new (VMware) rehearsal EBW System temporarily we have tthe RSA1 ->source system -> we have below

Source system type:

The is need to be diabled or deactivated (File system (manual metadata, data using file Interface) )

UPLFILE
SAP_DEMO
PC_FILE

This deactivation is required to avoid the disturbance of Live Production server,

Please let me know how to disable temporarily in rehearsal system?.

Hi,

check for any active Gateway connectoins(SMGW) and Outbound queues (SMQ1)

validate and terminate them. Also better to check SM21 logs relate to this.

ans: No active Gateway. Found that one outbound queue RFC destination. one which already changed the ip and hostname of the destination.

Our source system type

1.SAP system for release 3.0 -> (5 Source system)

2. File system (manual metadata, data using file Interface) ->( 3Source system)

3.Database system.-> ( 3Source system)

We already deactivated the 1).SAP system for release 3.0 & 3).Database system by removing the IP address.

But 2) File system type, There are no provision to change the any IP or host name.

Found that Logical system name is available at BD54 logical system overview.

1. I was wondering can we remove logical system entry in Bd54?.

2. If I remove is there any way to restore the connection back as previous Source system?.

Hi ,

not sure this would be as solution. you can not delete Logical connection. can change using BDLS report.
