IDES Installation prob

</span>I'm installing IDES CRM50 [OS=win2003SR2SP2,DB=Oracle102patched104,Netweaver7.0], i'm using the last sapinst from the market place.<span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />

</span>Before this problem i encountred an other problem described in the note <span style="font-weight: bold;">970518 (</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">replace script.execute_AbortOnFailure(); with script.execute(); in control.xml...) </span>i did this instrctions and i passed this problem, now i'm facing an other problem in the same phase 12 on 28 "<span style="font-weight: bold;">Creating database</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">:executing the .sql scripts</span>". I think the problem i'm encountring is when the script <span style="font-weight: bold;">catproc.sql</span> is run, thank you for your help to acheive this installation and let other people having the same issue to find a solution on the SDN Forum :<br />

Hello Mohammed,

The error ORA 29809 can be ignored as per note 582427 - Error due to inconsistent Oracle DDIC (point no 5).

Those errors stated by the catalog.sql and catproc.sql scripts can be ignored. Sapinst does not have these errors in its exception list and announces therefore errors.

I have only found a few customers with this error and the recomendation is that you can continue with the installation in

this way:

1. stop the installation

2. edit 'keydb.xml' - search for 'SAPINST_INST_STATUS' first and

then for 'CDATA[ERROR]' and change exactly this entry to 'CDATA[OK]'

3. rerun the installation and use the option 'continue old installation'

It should work... Please, be sure of the syntax; I have not indicated exactly; please, cheak again:

1. stop the installation

2. edit 'keydb.xml' - search for 'SAPINST_INST_STATUS' first and

then for 'CDATA[ERROR]' and change exactly this entry to 'CDATA[OK]'

3. rerun the installation and use the option 'continue old installation'

In any case, chack all the points in note 587427.
