New user for SDM

May I create a new user only for deployments in SDM?. Actually we have 'Administrator' user and I have been looking for information about how to create a new user but I have only found how to change password. Is it possible what I'm asking?

I know that SDM user and password is into 'secure store in config tool', but I'm not sure how add a new user.

Any advice?.

Hi,

SDM user specially given for Configuration purpose also direct link to IN folder in TRANS folder.

user is hard-coded in script files and also you may get negative results when you chane this.

This is not recommended.

Hi,

For doing any kind of deployment activity use only SDM user/password. SAP has provided the method to unlock and change the password of this user , so please avoid such kind of trails.
