MDM PI adapter not working

Hi All,

we are on MDM 7.1 SP04 AND PI7.1 SP06 AND MDM Java API Version is 7.1.04.138 i.e. on the latest version.

MDM PI adapter is not able to pick up the files from the MDM distribution folders..

Communication channel is functioning and in Green.

PI adapter is only picking up the files only when i manually activate the communication chennel.

what could be the reason.are there any other prerequisites for MDM PI adapter that we are missing upon.

if any one has come across the same issues and got this sorted out ..let me know please

kindly verify the values you mentioned in:

MDM Server (host name or IP)

MDM Repository Name, along with User and Password

DBMS Server (host name or IP) and DBMS Type

Port Code and Remote System Code of the outbound MDM port

and goto RWB and check the Communication Channel monitoring of your MDM Adapter.

Hi Jagdish,

Communication channel has been specified the correct parameters.

i have just checked the communication chennel in RWB.it is throwing the following error.

"Could not process MDM syndication event due to: com.sap.mdm.internal.protocol.manual.ServerException: Error Opening File"

Any clue on it.

Hi Rohan,

There is some problem with MDM adapter which SAP will be correcting in next release SP05. Please follow note 1452509.
