Redundant files

My FSd suggests that I should take three input files and place them in the XI server. Map the third file with the target file and get the output. Why should I take the files from source and place it in the XI layer if its not going to be involved in mapping ? What purpose does it serve ? Has anyone come across a similar situation ?

How can we tell you if all 3 files needed or just one into XI server..

Come on man it's not your fault if something weird is written in your FSd.. or something is not clear... Just ask the question to the functional person who has written the FS.. don't be afraid.

It was weird stuff written in FSD. Anyway I close this thread. Points also given for that priceless suggestion
