Hello Experts,

Our landscape is alaready productive. Currentry we are using 24 hours time format. Customer has ask to change time format to 12 hours.

My concerns are:

1. Is it okay to change time format of live system?

2. At where I am suppose to change time format (SU3, or OS Level or Database level)

3. Is there is any way to change time format globally rather than user level?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Best Regards,

Abhijeet Rathi

Hello Cristiano,

This parameter if to change date format at the time of user creation. There is same kind of parameter to change time format at the time of user creation, zcsa/modtimefm

My concern is changin time format of live system, where users are already created.

This shouldn't have any adverse effect as the SAP system is governed by TZ settings & rules in txn STZAC & STZBC respectively.

So, as far as data records & time-stamps are concerned there is no effect. And, this what is important from a SAP/Database time-stamp point of view.
