SAP Netweaver SR3 Installation.....

HI,

We are planning to Install SAP Netweaver SR3 in our landscape as there is no sap server.

Our requirement is SAP Netweaver ABAP+JAVA and usage type is PI.

We are planning to install Central Instance only. While we are installing it is asking Profile Path (DEFAULT.PFL) as it is a fresh system we donu2019t have Profiles.

SAP Netweaver 7.0 Support release 3 Optional Standalone Unit MAXDBApplication Sharing Server InstallationnextnextProfiles

OS = Windows XP Sp3 (32bit)

RDBMS = MXDB

I read the Installation Guide

Kindly help how to install central and databases instance

Windows XP is not supported as operating system for any Netweaver installation.

32bit systems are not supported for PI 7.1.

That doesn't look like the path to install the CI for me?... are you sure you read the installation guide?

Is your box 32 or 64bit?

Click on "SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1".

Check the second page of the PDF that will open, 32bit systems are deprecated and not supported, that's why you don't see any "central instance" entries in sapinst.
