BDC Recording parameters

Hi People,

If I am doing BDC recoding in that some initaitl input parameters and there impact is not clear .Please help me for these parameters

UPDATE MODE

CATT MODE

DEFAULT SIZE

CONT AFTER COMMIT

NOT A BATCH INPUT SESSION

SIMULATE BACKGROUND MODE

Please help me what excalty do they mean?

Actually the fields (combined with F1) are very much self-explanatory. If you don't understand what they mean then you're just not familiar with underlying concepts (e.g. synchronous vs. asynchronous update) and they cannot be explained in a forum post. You can find out more in [Batch Input FAQ|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/BatchInputFAQ], but I wouldn't worry about these fields - just leave everything as is.
