Hi,
We have implemented the parallel Processing of our Inbound IDocs. We are facing Performance issue with WPUUMS (Sales) idoc posting.
Could you please throw some light on RV_BELEG buffer settings to optimize the processing time?
Regards,
Amit
Hi,
Are you using CO-PA in invoices FP? Check Note 361896 - Performance/DB growth: POS inbound + CO-PA.
Check these other notes too:
Note 584644 - Deactivation of message control for billing documents
Note 213546 - HPR collective note: POS inbound: this note tells you 'Due to legal requirements, the number range assignment for certain number range objects in certain countries should only occur in an unbuffered way. Here, a new number is assigned protected by a database block on one of the above tables. The local number range buffering has been enhanced again to prevent a serialization of the processes due to database blocks (see Note 179224). '
I hope this helps you
Regards
Eduardo

Go to SNRO, provide the number range object RV_BELEG; and click on display. By default the number ranges are not buffered.
You can go to change mode, and go to edit | set up buffering | Parallel.
Set a number of buffers (depending on your idoc volumes), and see if it meets your requirement.
