Hi

In web dynpro ABAP when i enter the value with minus sign (-)for an input field it gives me meesgae in german " Der eingegebene Wert ist keine gültige Zahl " I checked the domain which is NUMC and does not allow the minus sign.

But where to chnage the message from german to english.

There is no documnetion as weel for data elme nt in eneglish.

MAy be its documention issue.

Please advice

I checked the thread but i guess this not the problem of data element.

It gives me error for input field in german. i logged into the syatem with DE but there is no documnetatkion for the data element.

May be it is some other issue..

any advice.

The error message isn't within the data element itself. The data element data type is simply being checked by the WD framework. It is the framework that is issuing the message. I would imagine this would make it difficult to find. You should instead enter a support ticket for the missing translation. All such framework generated error messages should be available in English as well as German (at minimum).
