Integrate inspection lots of origin 03 with CO11N confirmation.

Dear Friends,

We are using ECC6.00 with QM,PP module also implemented. In QM we are using inspection lots with origin '03'. Users enter results for '03' inspection lots.

Our users face problem in closing the inspection lots (i.,e., completing by providing UD) because, the order confirmation takes place in CO11N and they miss the track of completing the lots as they are not integrated in the system.

Is there any way by which we can after confirmation of the qty in CO11N, system should prompt for usage decision for the inspection lots automatically and mandatorily. So that users can carry out the activity in one single screen.

You do the confirmation of Quality operation through QA32 so that the result recording is done, confirmation is done and UD is given

If you have done the enhacement in CO11N , it should work for QA32 screen also. Rework order will get triggered in QA32. A minor change might be required in the enhacement so that this functionality works also for QA32 . A similar kind of enhancement i have worked which is working fine in both CO11N and QA32.

Dear Sujit,

Thank you for your immediate response. We tried the option mentioned by you but system prompts error message only once. i.e. if results are entered for that operation once, system doesn't prompt error message during multiple confirmation.

Moreover when the results are entered for that operation once and usage decision is not provided then system will not prompt error message.

Is there any way atleast to stop confirmation if the usage decision is pending for the lot after all the qty of the order is confirmed?

Dear Gajesh,

Thank you for your immediate response. Your suggestion is valid but we have to abstain from this option because we have scrap and rework also to be posted. During rework qty posting, we have enabled trigger points to create rework order automatically and we have custom program which will call the notification screen if qty is posted in the scarp field.

With the above activities, can you explain how to get the above functionalities also in QA32.

Can you explore following :

In confirmation parameters of order types in the IMG, Transaction OPK4 in the upcoming screen for results recording (QM) change the message to 1(Error message if no inspection result exists) and save.
