Halting Stock Posting without Result Recording

dear Experts,

Please what settings would I make to stop system from allowing posting from Quality Inspection to unrestricted if Results recording is not done for an inspection lot?

You can remove the user status and proceed.

Hi

This can be done.

First, make all MICs required char. in QS21 and apply Q_INSP_FIN authorization object to stop force UD in case RR not completed.

Then make use of status profile QM_L_003 ( no stock posting before UD) in BS02.

This will solve your problem.

1.Introduce status mgt( You will get plenty of threads in SDN)

2.Using User exit -->QEVA0010 |UD: Usage decision check

Here logic will be status of all char/mic should be 5

Make all characteristics required. Then use security to block the force closure functionality. You'll want to give the security to a few limited people so they can take care of exceptions such as a lab manager or shift supervisor.
