Hi,
When we first installed our Solution Manager we created our solutions with language "ES". Now we want to use"EN" as the default language when working in SolMan. We can't change the solution language from the Solution Directory (Solution Settings).
The problem is that even if we logon in english, the nodes in the "Solution Structure" are displayed in spanish ("Unidades Organizativas", "Datos Maestros"...).
Is there any way to change the language of a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Jon
Hi Jon,
The change of solution Language should be from Solution Directory - Solution Settings-> session languages -> set languages
Please do let us know the issue you are facing so that you can't change it?. All session components can be changed to required language settings.
But if you have maintained the Business structure on Spanish, that should be manually changed to English.

Hi,
I post a screenshot that perhaps could help you understand the problem:

Hi,
Answer from SAP, there seems to be no solution:
-
Thank you for contacting SAP Active Global Support. Please note that
Solution Structure is similar to a name. Saying this, name's can not
be translated from language to language; therefore, if it was first
entered in Spanish, there is no way of modifying this unless you re-do
the entire thing. You will also find the same under DSWP when you pick
a Solution, the Solution in question can not be translated even if you
login using a different language than the default.

Dear Jon
The Structure and it's language cannot be changed as it is based on the language of the Solution which in your case is Spanish.
