Business System / Pipleine URL now with Port 50000?

Hi there,

i have a Question.

A fresh installed PI 7.11

In the SMICM i see the HTTP Port on 50000

In the SLD that is locally i see the Business System IntegratioN Server with Pipleine URL

http://host:50000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

Is this correct?

I worked only on XI 3.0 and there was the Port 8000

Is this new to PI 7.11 that the Port is now 50000 because they have now only one Dispatcher or so?

That's right Bjoern,

In PI 7.1 you may use the 50XX0 port as well. Also there's no rule of using HTTP 8000 for somethings and

JAVA 50000 for others. You can work only with the 50000 if you want to.

Hi,

IN PI 7.11 the ports are one and same unless in xi 3.0 different for ABAP and java stacks...

check the below thread which discussed the same
