File-R/3 Scenario

Hi All,

I have a scenario where XI picks up a file having multilple records.After the validations, these records have to be posted to the R/3 system using a BAPI.If any of the records are erroneous, these error records have to be recorded somewhere for the reference of the R/3 users.Should these records be posted to an R/3 Z-table or is there any other option for error handling?How is this normally done in XI scenarios?

Hi Sowmya,

There are mutliple ways in which you can stord up your error records..

Post it into an r3 Z table as you have mentioned or , push it into a file that your R3 users can access or use the JDBC adapter to push the error record into an Database table and so on.
